Recent Vintage Goodies....

This past Saturday during a visit to one of my favorite thrift stores, I found a VERY sexy genuine leather halter with silver rivets and a genuine leather/suede & silver belt. The top reminds me of something you'd see in one of those late 60's, early 70's Grindhouse biker movies. I think it goes quite well with my vintage black leather fringe jacket ;^)

Reason, Season, or Lifetime...

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

My second non-traditional Halloween pumpkin creation. This one slightly larger; painted a lovely matte burgundy with lace fabric overlay(you all know I LOVE lace), adorned with a black velvet D.I.Y rhinestone enhanced spider ;^)

Not only did I get inspired by Youtube, my "Glamgourd" also came to mind when creating this Halloween nail look. All nails except one are a glittery black with chunky silver glitter 3/4 of the nail & crystals, my left thumb is white with a sparkly web design, crystals & black rhinestones ;^)

Glamgourd...

My non-traditional self created a non-traditional pumpkin!

Halloween is my favorite holiday and pretty much the only one I actually get into actively; decorate, dress-up, etc. For the whole month of October, I'll do various stuff including nails, clothing & crafts. Maybe I'm just a bit Goth at heart ;^)

This look was created out of inspiration from a few Youtube Halloween tutorials. All nails are a sparkly black, silver glitter tips with the exception of a spider donning a rhinestoned body & eyes on my right index finger.

This look was solely inspired by my favorite form of design from architecture, jewelry, clothing, movies, etc. My dream home will be adorned in Art Deco fabulousness; Silver, chrome, black, different shades of grey, leathers, deep velvets, glass & crystals ;^)
